Let’s address the elephant in the room regarding Acemagic
I bought this mini PC for $209 and actually had very little expectations out of it at this price point. Also, in the past, products sold from this vendor contained Malware, so I was extra cautious and wary when I bought this item. But $209, who can argue with that. Especially with memory prices nowadays it’s ridiculous.Anyway, first thing I did was go through the windows setup (without connecting to the internet…Important!) and installed Malwarebytes via USB key containing the full offline installer. Ran the scan…and it came up clean! No virus/malware found! This is good news as Acemagic had a stigma from issues with malware installed in past products, possibly compromising end user ho,e network security. This is good; great experience so far!Since Windows 11 has a clean build of health, I deleted and wiped the entire drive so I can install Ubuntu Linux. I ran some extremely strenuous tests on this unit, and the cooling system is super impressive. I am running glmark2 (graphics chip benchmarking software) along with a stress utility that makes all 4 cores run at 100%. Even though with the heavy workload, this thing stayed relatively cool. The fan hardly runs. You can’t even hear it run. The glmark2 score was only 1269, so it is far from a hot rod, and having only a 4 core Ryzen 4300U CPU, you won’t be running large LLMs (for AI) on this, nor play any of the latest cutting edge games. Which is OK, because this unit isn’t for that. It’s for general purpose computing. And it’s oh so quiet! And doesn’t use up a whole lot of electricity, so you can have this running 24/7 with no issues. I’m planning to use this to run PiHole and Unbound (local DNS server), of which this K1 is overkill, since those apps were designed to run on a Raspberry Pi.Just to set expectations, this is a very entry level machine meant to do general purpose work. However, you can still improve performance by doing upgrades on this (unlike any Mac hardware). If this is what you are planning to do, my suggestions is to get rid of that 256GB SSD drive. It is SATA and it is slow. Put a NVMe M.2 SSD 1TB or so. These newer NVMe drives are so much faster…bottlenecks are usually had in the storage drives, especially if you’re running an app that is using a lot of swap space in lieu of memory. You can actually leave the crappy SATA drive in there and install the NVMe alongside it (it has an extra NVMe slot in the unit).Second thing to upgrade is the memory. This particular unit comes with 1 8GB SoDIMM module. There’s 2 slots available, so you can have up to 64GB memory in this.All in all, I’m super impressed with this unit, especially at the price point. I highly recommend this for anyone doing general purpose computing and to play lightweight games (it’ll probably even run an Arcade emulator, like MAME with no issues!)

Very good pc for the money
I purchased this unit as a second pc to use in my workshop. So far it works fine, setup was simple and the Ryzen processor seems to power the Win 11 Os with no issues. I haven’t done any gaming on this pc so I can’t comment on its ability to do so, but as a nice browsing pc it works great.

Tiny PC That Runs Everyday Tasks Well
This mini PC is much smaller than a regular desktop, so it fits easily on the corner of a desk without getting in the way. Setup was simple and it booted up pretty quickly. After getting everything running, it handled normal tasks like browsing, email, and documents without any trouble.The system feels responsive for general use. Opening several browser tabs, streaming video, and working on spreadsheets all run smoothly most of the time. The SSD helps programs load faster, which makes the computer feel snappier during daily use.It’s also nice having multiple display connections available. Using two screens at the same time works well and makes multitasking easier. For basic home or office work, this small computer has been practical and easy to use.

Absolutely worth it for a mini pc
It’s quiet, fast, easy to set up, and does everything I need of it. Mostly used for some light gaming and a lot of YouTube. The only thing I wish is more memory, but I have an external, which was a simple connection.

Excellent Mini PC.
Purchased the AMD 4300 version and it’s good. Had to manually update the Realtek ethernet and wifi manually but other than that it comes with Windows 11 Pro and after updates it is on 25h2 without issue. Use it for streaming services and it is excellent for the task. Set up using an Asus touchscreen via the USB C port and it worked flawlessly along with keeping it charged without draining the battery. It had a sticker over the ethernet port as to use wifi to update but my access point would not allow it to connect so I plugged it in updated the drivers and works great over wifi.
