Power cord unusable. Terrible. Complete junk.
The prongs in the power cord are not long enough to stay in the wall socket and the box that the prongs are attached to is too heavy resulting in a poor connection and no power, or with the plug just repeatedly falling out of the wall despite trying crazy thing like taping the plug to the wall, etc. trying extension cords, different sockets, plug adapters, etc did not work. When the power reaches the unit the Bluetooth connection works well and it sounds great. But the plug makes the whole thing useless and it doesn’t work unless connected. The attachment of the power cord to the unit is an odd shape and another appropriate cord I had would not fit into the hole in the housing of the unit for the power cord. The company does not send out replacement cords. The Belkin customer service is terrible – the online chat tells you to call a number for speaker service which doesn’t pick up – I sat on hold for >5 hours several days running; they have a function that is supposed to call you back if you confirm your number which I did several times but no call in 3 weeks. I returned and replaced the unit via Amazon and the replacement unit had the exact same problem. The unit is attractive but is a very expensive piece of junk if the cord won’t work. Can’t tell you how much of a headache this has been. 100% don’t buy.

I have 2 small issue with it.
Black color was cheaper than white, but I paid more for white one because I don’t like black due to dust issue . It provides good sounds in my small kitchen. When I first saw it, it seems little big. But I can accept because it is not portable. The 2 thing I didn’t satisfied with this is charging direction and heat. I love to see some video with my phone, but I can’t watch video with full screen during I charge my phone with this speaker because you can put your phone only one way on this speaker for charging. And I felt some heat on its bottom. It may not be big deal, I’m afraid about that a little bit because my other bluetooth speakers doesn’t have same matter like this.

Great sounds
I like the sound from the Devialet system, really unique and dynamic, I can hear the sounds in difference layers, which is totally out of my expectation.I bought it for $79.99, which is good value for money.Alexa is quit easy to use, however it is less user friendly than Google Assistant.

Original broke in under a month, replacement in under 2
When I first got this speaker, it worked great. Then the disconnecting started happening after a few weeks until I couldn’t get through more than a song or two before it would drop connectivity. Amazon replaced the speaker for me. The second one lasted longer, so I thought it was good. Then, recently, I noticed I couldn’t connect to it because it wasn’t on. I figured maybe it was the outlet, but the plug wouldn’t stay plugged in. I tried a different outlet and the plug kept falling out. If I held the plug in place, the device would power on, but the second I let go, the plug would spark and start falling out just slightly. Then I figured it was gravity. The same thing happens with my MacBook charger, so I got an extension so the plug could go down towards the ground. When plugging it in, I saw small sparks again and of course the device never powered on. This speaker’s plug is a fire hazard. 0/10 wouldn’t recommend even at 50% off.

Does Not Work with Google Home
This product, version 2, does NOT work with Google Home. Very frustrating as it is my second used purchase of the same device – the first came without a charger – and it took 2 days, a chat and a phone call with Belkin to get it functional and then find out it doesn’t work with Google Home. (Amazon, please correct the Q&A which says it does…)

Easy setup
Bought this for music in the shower (no, it isn’t waterproof, it sits on the counter). Paired up easily to my wife’s iPhone and sounds great for a speaker that size. Quite a bit of bass. Oh, and it charges, too LOL
