Unbeatable for the price!
First of all, this light looks incredible. Although it’s dumb, the photo/video industry includes clients that like pro looking equipment. And this light looks very cool in person. In addition, the amount of light provided from it’s size also impresses. I’ve used this light for portraits during blue light conditions and got great results. The client couldn’t believe it came out of a little case like that as well.The case is sort of acceptable quality. It’s not quite as professional as other industry products, but it’s passable. My product came with some strange dust or colored residue both on the cardboard packaging and on the light itself. The cardboard wasn’t an issue because it’s just packaging, and the particulate on the light was easy to wipe of with a dry towel.The usability of the light is wonderful. I’ve used it while plugged in and also while using an external battery for mobile application. Both experiences are really great. The wall plugin isn’t the longest cable in the world, but they include a nice mesh bag to hang the bulky part of the charger from the light stand. This keeps the extra weight off the power plug. I also used that bag to hold the external battery as well.My biggest critique is the included softbox and dome are not compatible with the bowens mount that is included. This mount requires another softbox. These can be had from $50-$150 extra. Kind of a bummer, but hard to complain too much.For $250, you will be quite satisfied with this product.

The best bang for your buck when it comes to camera lighting. For the price these things can’t be beat. Good build quality, easily carried in your camera bag, and more functional than some lights that are double their price.

Amazing powerfull baby
It’s been fantastic so far. My videos passed to the next level and finally achieved a professional look and feel. Easy to operate, the control thru the app works perfectly. J did not buy the diffussor – I will – and it is so powerfull, that I project it towards a wall and works 10 points. Highly recommended.

It died! —- UPDATED: MFG REPLACED IT — GOOD AGAIN!
1-starIt was good for a while. However, a month or two into it…. puff! It died. Felt like one of the internal electrolytic capacitors blew or something. Then I just have a brick on my hand. It looks nice, but is useless. Past the return window. Very disappointed with the product and the brand. I intentionally stayed away from the cheaper lights for this exact reason. So disappointed. BTW, I am not one to use the light a lot. It was on for a few hours, then off for days, then on again. Total runtime is less than 40 hrs before death.UPDATE: The MFG reached out to me. After some troubleshooting emails back and forth to confirm that the light was indeed dead, a replacement was sent and received in a few days. Now, I am back and the future is bright again. Thank you Yilia!Back to 5-star — the light IS good when it’s on!

Replacing my old LED lights with the Zhiyun Molus
I got the Zhiyun Molus X100 light a few days ago. I really liked how compact, portable, and bright the X100 is. So I decided to get it’s little brother, Zhiyun Molus G60. The shipping was pretty fast, the G60 arrived within 2 days. This time I have ordered the combo kit, not just the standard kit. Everything came in a brown box, well protected.In the G60 combo kit, there is a mini softbox, bowens mount adapter, AC power adapter, dome light modifier, small tripod, and a carrying case. Pretty much everything I would need to use this little light. The G60 is a 60w COB LED light, in the shape of a small cube. It’s so small that it can easily fit in pockets, or purses. Same with the X100, it accepts multiple power sources. It can use the AC adapter it comes with, which can max output at 60w of power, or it can also use any PD USB-C power source. Like USB-C PD chargers, or USB-C PD power banks. Depends on how much power does each of the PD source provide, it will display PD30w, PD60w, and etc. Different PD power level, will provide different max power output for the G60. This can be very useful, when traveling, do need to bring the big AC adapter with me all the time. Just use my macbook charger, or even cell phone chargers.In this kit, I really love the mini softbox. It’s so compact, and so cute. It folds away easily, and pops open within 5 seconds. Very easy to setup. It mounts directly on the G60 or the X100 light, no adapters needed. It provides a much larger and softer light source. Gives my photos or videos a much more even, and softer light. Once folded, it can fit in my pants pocket with no problem at all. This might be my favorite accessory for the G60 light so far.This kit also comes with a carrying case. This carry case can keep everything organized. So far I am able to fit the G60 light, AC adapter, and the small reflector into the carry case. Its not very big, so have limited space. It has pretty good protection, so I don’t need to worry about damaging the light, or anything. I do wish the carrying case is a little bigger, so it can fit all the accessories into it. That way I don’t have to carry around the mini softbox, or the bowens adapter separately.The G60 outputs max 60w of light. Not as bright as the x100, but still pretty bright for the size of this light. I have been using it to light up small products, headshots, or use it as a fill light. Since it is bi-colored, I am able to adjust the color temp from 2700k to 6200k. Can easily being used for indoor lighting, to outdoor daylight. Don’t need to worry about filters, mixed light temp, or white balance issues. The bowens mount adapter makes everything even better. I am able to use my full size softboxes, and modifiers. Make it into a professional studio lighting. The light is so compact and versatile, just make my job so much easier! I am planing to replace all my old LED lights with the Zhiyun Molus. Save so much storage spaces, and much easier to take with me. I do hope Zhiyun will come up with even more powerful compact COB lights. Like the 200w, or even 300w in the same shape/sizes.

I am very impressed by this light from ZHIYUN that is a COB LED continuous light for video and photography. Regardless if it is a light or not it is so freaking cute that I would want to have it if it was only a toy that did nothing, that is how cute and tiny it is. You can see that this light got me excited, so now let’s be more serious as to why this is a special light. I have many COB LED lights that are very expensive and so much bigger that I use for lighting my videos and now with this small light I can do almost the same light setup but way smaller footprint. 60W is powerful and can product quality light for my video and product shot, plus the included diffusion dome produce soft light that is crucial to quality light source. The Molus G60 is a bi-colour light with a range of 2700K-6500K CCT so it does cool and warm light. The brightness can be adjusted from 1% to 100% to get just the right amount. The two control knobs are intuitive and simple to use. The light can be powered by an external power bank, note that it will not output at maximum capacity using it. Many accessories can be used with the light and an optional Bowens mount adapter (come with the combo) can make it compatible with light modifiers that are of that kind. I can see so many possibilities for using this light creatively because of its size and 60 W power output. I can strongly recommend this light if you are a videographer or photograph that wants a small compact lighting setup on the go at an affordable price.
