Questionable, possibly illegal, 1st gen was better and 20 bux cheaper
This box originally identified as a W2 due to it utilizing the superior AMLogic S905W2 chipset. What they are selling now, and for 20+ dollars more, is an inferior product based around the less capable Rockchip 3518 chipset. This is the same basic board as a ~25.00 ONN TV box, with 2gb ram and 96gb rom. Performance is lethargic running AndroidTV 14, often hiccuping and freezing while it tries to fi superbox gure it out. It comes from the factory with unrestricted root access if you have half a clue about this kind of thing. It comes bundled with sketchy TV apps selling cheap access to pirated movies and what not, very similar to the superbox hack-my-network-please scourge out there. I will update this review and eat crow if something good comes out of this; first unit failed after four hours of use, and am waiting on a replacement that they say could take a month or more. bleh

easy to use
Honestly this TV box is super easy to use. just plugged it in and it was pretty much ready to go. The picture looks really nice, and everything runs smooth when I’m watching shows or opening apps. No lag so far.I also like that it has a lot of storage, so I don’t worry about downloading apps. WiFi connection is stable too. The menu is simple, nothing complicated.For the price, I think it’s really worth it.
